clear the debt
I am so happy today... the G-8 finance ministers have agreed to wipe the slate clean -- the debt owed from several impoverished countries many of which were in Africa, is no longer to be paid ... This is great news!!! I hope to see more of this trend --- maybe Bono is on to something... maybe getting rid of poverty is attainable in our lifetime...!

This is completely unrelated to your note re Afrique. I saw Naysan N while on pilgrimage and he is great and doing great things. he also told me to tell you that you are so so so hard to get a hold of, since he's been trying to call you at work, home, mobile, etc... give him a call. there you have it. love ya,
